If you love salty, crunchy snacks like myself then this recipe is perfect for you! When I need to lay off the chips, this is the perfect alternative.

Ingredients

  • 15oz can of chickpeas

  • 1.5 tsp of olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp chili powder

  • 1/4 tsp cumin

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powfer

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1/4 tsp thyme

  • A dip! (I went with guac but a ranch or aioli would also work perfectly!)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450F.

  2. Drain one 15oz can of chickpeas and pat dry.

  3. Toss in olive oil.

  4. Add seasonings and mix well.

  5. Cook for 20-30 minutes until brown and crispy.

  6. Enjoy!

Play around with the seasonings and dip until you find your perfect taste! Alternatives to this recipe: you can roast the chickpeas first then toss them in olive oil and seasonings once out of the oven. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
